    "description_html": "<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>The Ultrasound Technologist will independently operate sonographic equipment and perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosis or scans for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The qualified candidate will be expected to take a patient centered approach and assure that all services are provided within professional standards and with a high level of medical ethics.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> N/A</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties / Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.</li><li>Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers</li><li>Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments</li><li>Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations</li><li>Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations, including venous reflux and arterial ultrasound examinations</li><li>Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination</li><li>Obtains and reviews the requisition for examination in order to be aware of information such as procedure requested, clinical history, patient condition or any other special requirements</li><li>Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images</li><li>Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings</li><li>Independently initiates additional ultrasound imaging procedures to facilitate optimum diagnostic results&nbsp;</li><li>Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician</li><li>Provides interpreting physician with an oral or written summary of technical findings</li><li>Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients</li><li>Maintains ultrasound equipment and adequate supplies&nbsp;</li><li>Other Duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills / Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be RVT or RVS certified.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>*StrideCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
