You will also handle system administration duties to ensure high availability, security, and performance across critical systems. The role requires expertise in network management and troubleshooting in a 24/7 casino environment, ensuring that systems operate smoothly with minimal downtime.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Objectives</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and optimize network infrastructure across both casino locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and high performance.</li>\n <li>Lead network enhancement projects focused on improving security, system performance, and overall reliability.</li>\n <li>Ensure 24/7 uptime of critical casino networks and quickly resolve any IT issues to prevent disruptions to operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Casino Network Infrastructure</strong>: Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for two casino locations in Gardena. This includes Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.</li>\n <li><strong>Network Management</strong>: Monitor and maintain network devices and services to ensure secure, functional, and high-performing network environments. Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs, and other networking protocols to support casino operations.</li>\n <li><strong>System Administration</strong>: Support system administration tasks, including managing Windows servers, VMware (ESXi, vSAN), and backup systems like Veeam. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and system patching.</li>\n <li><strong>IT Security</strong>: Implement and enforce strong security protocols across both casino properties to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with PCI standards and regularly audit systems for vulnerabilities.</li>\n <li><strong>Troubleshooting & Support</strong>: Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner to maintain network and system uptime. Ensure minimal downtime and service disruptions across both locations.</li>\n <li><strong>Vendor & Partner Coordination</strong>: Work with vendors for network upgrades, hardware support, and IT services. Evaluate and recommend new technologies for casino IT operations, including surveillance systems and access controls.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation</strong>: Create and maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, system setups, and operational procedures across both casinos.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education</strong>: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>Experience</strong>:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>5+ years of experience in network administration, ideally in high-availability environments like casinos or hospitality.</li>\n  <li>Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.</li>\n  <li>Experience managing Windows Server environments, VMware, Dell hardware, and Veeam Backup & Replication.</li>\n  <li>Experience with surveillance camera systems (CCTV, IPcams) or prior casino experience is a plus.</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Certifications</strong>:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li><strong>CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is required</strong>.</li>\n  <li>Additional certifications are a plus.</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Skills</strong>:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Excellent troubleshooting skills for network and system issues.</li>\n  <li>Strong understanding of network security practices, including firewalls, encryption, and PCI compliance.</li>\n  <li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple locations.</li>\n  <li>Strong documentation and communication skills.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>",
