    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Operates automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures. Performs quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identifies variations. Processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions and requires training in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.</li><li>Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.</li><li>Operates automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures.</li><li>Controls heat-treating furnaces, baths and quenching equipment to alter physical and chemical properties of metal objects, using specifications and methods of controlled heating and cooling, such as hardening, tempering, annealing, casehardening, and normalizing.</li><li>Places parts in racks, trays, or baskets and places objects on conveyor or loads objects directly into furnace.</li><li>Determines temperature and time of heating cycle, and type and temperature of baths and quenching medium to attain specified hardness, toughness, and ductility of parts, using standard heat-treating charts, and utilizing knowledge of heat-treating methods, equipment, and properties of metals.</li><li>Adjusts furnace controls and observes pyrometer to bring furnace to prescribed temperature.</li><li>Loads parts into furnace.</li><li>Removes parts after prescribed time and quenches parts in water, oil, brine, or other bath, or allows parts to cool in air.</li><li>Performs quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identifies variations.</li><li>Processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions and requires training in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures.</li><li>Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.</li><li>Other various duties as needed or as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
