Description

Position Summary Orlando Health Cancer Institute (OHCI) is seeking a BE/BC Breast Medical Oncologist, with a dedicated interest in clinical research to expand and advance its breast cancer research program. The incoming physician will play a key role in strengthening the Institute’s breast oncology research platform, contribute to outcomes and translational research initiatives, and work with institutional leadership to identify opportunities within the breast clinical trials portfolio as the program continues to expand. Responsibilities will include at least two (2) days of outpatient clinic, with protected time to conduct research and clinical trials (phases I – III), including industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies. OHCI is a Commission on Cancer–accredited center with an NAPBC-accredited breast program, offering a strong foundation for clinical excellence and research growth. OHCI’s Breast Cancer Center is comprised of a robust, multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, APPs, and additional cancer care specialists dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician committed to improving breast cancer care through clinical trials, research, and outcomes-focused studies while maintaining a balanced clinical practice. Requirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME, or AOA-accredited Hem/Onc training program Demonstrated interest and experience in clinical research/trials Program Highlights: Orlando Health’s Breast Cancer Center is an NAPBC-accredited program, part of the CoC-accredited Orlando Health Cancer Institute. The program includes 38 Breast Physicians, 11 APPs, and 5 Nurse Navigators, across 7 Cancer Institute locations. The program covers Central Florida and sees over 1200 new cancer diagnoses annually.
