    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Purpose of Your Position</strong></p>\n<p>Provide occupational therapy services to infants’ toddlers, preschool and school age children for an assigned caseload and conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations. This position is Per Diem- hours/schedule based on the needs of the school.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Promotes Elizabeth Seton Children’s Mission and Core Values of Respecting and Embracing Diversity, Excellence, Collaboration, Innovation, Evolution, Growth and Change and Loving Relationships by bringing these values to life in the organization.</p></li>\n <li>Provide mandated services to assigned children on caseload in compliance with IEP documents utilizing the resources of the clinical Director of Rehabilitation</li>\n <li>Participate in meetings and consultations with education staff and the multidisciplinary team concerning the needs of each child as related to his/her mandated services and progress updates</li>\n <li>Work effectively with parents, teaching staff and other professionals directly involved in the care and treatment of the child to develop and monitor IEP services</li>\n <li>Use accurate assessment skills to perform functional evaluations with reports reflecting current knowledge and evidence based practices and communicate results effectively in both written and verbal formats</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate record keeping and IEP/IFSP goal tracking documentation as required by SED/EI and Coleman School policies for quality assurance and accountability purposes</li>\n <li>Responsible for providing input into and when appropriate fabrication of child’s assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and orthotic appliance needs</li>\n <li>May serve as clinical instructor and assists with coordination of affiliation programs as needed for occupational therapy students.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in the creation and implementation of an individual and School wide Professional Development Plan that inspires personal growth and informs clinical practices</li>\n <li>Perform other tasks to support the operations of the school as assigned by School Administration</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree or Doctorate degree</li>\n <li>NYS PT License</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>New Graduates with Pediatric experience considered</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year Pediatric PT experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong></p>\n<p>$70/Hr.</p>",
