As a successful candidate you will: Study transcriptional regulation and RNA metabolism in normal development and human diseases, such as neurological disorder, immunology, and cancer. Utilize biochemistry, molecular biology, CRISPR-based genomic screen, single-cell transcriptomics, and genetically modified mouse models to investigate the role of protein arginine methylation in the regulation of chromatin biology, RNA splicing, and RNA modification in mammalian cells.
