Position: Case Manager I-III OBI [1449]
Program: Amarillo, Texas – Outpatient Biopsychosocial Intervention (OBI)
Salary range:
Case Manager I: $40,809.60 Annually
Case Manager II: $43,305.60 Annually
Case Manager III: $46,009.60 Annually
Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Family & Youth Specialist:
Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language Provides service coordination, proper assessment, treatment planning, biopsychosocial case management service interventions to a caseload according to local policy and procedure, TPC Community Standards, Medicaid guidelines, and HCS standards. Collaborate with the IDD and Behavioral Health teams to ensure a cross-systems biopsychosocial approach is used when providing skills training and case management. Educate and train community mental health partners, substance use partners, and others involved in mental health on techniques and training resources. Provide referrals within the community for appropriate consultations. Provide skills training to individuals in the program, parents, and support systems. Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments. Develop recovery-focused, strength-based treatment plan that is person-centered and includes the individual’s vulnerabilities and triggers from a biopsychosocial perspective. Will monitor the progress towards the desired outcomes identified by the team of each individual assigned and will document in regular monitoring/review tools, which will be submitted in a timely manner to adhere to documentation requirements. Is a contributing and collaborating member of the treatment team, sharing ideas and client progress to ensure identified needs are addressed. Follows the required documentation requirements of OBI services as outlined in the Statement of Work. Provide services in Amarillo and in the regional areas of the Texas Panhandle as needed Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concern if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised Required qualifications of the Family & Youth Specialist to be successful in the job:
Must have a Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral, or human service field including, but not limited to, psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, and criminal justice for Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) credentialing A minimum of one (1) year experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities required. For Case Manager I, no additional case management experience required For Case Manager II, minimum one (1) year of experience in behavioral health case management or IDD Service Coordination For Case Manager III, minimum two (2) years of experience in behavioral health case management or IDD Service Coordination Graduate work may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).
