Kelvion &ndash; Together, We Shape the Future</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Perform activities concerned with maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant by performing the following duties.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Confers with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections</li></ul><ul><li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license to drive to different locations within the Port.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to operate overhead and jib cranes, operate industrial forklifts and man lifts.</li><li>Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on&ndash;site, ability to work overtime.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li><li>Prioritize and schedule both routine maintenance work orders and breakdown situations within the team, managing their workload, including attendance.</li><li>Able to document data and write clear reports.</li><li>Provide assistance in estimating for maintenance related projects within Kelvion.</li><li>Conduct safety bi-weekly meetings with the Team.</li><li>Reinforce safety policy and rules, identifying breaches or hazards and reporting them in a timely, concise manner.</li><li>Must be able to provide sufficient supervision up to 80% of their time working on maintenance related tasks, duties.</li><li>Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improvement for long-term solution.</li><li>Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety.</li><li>Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all equipment is up to date and within the standards needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organization skill, and communication skill.</li><li>Prioritize tasks in a self-directed and time-managed manner.</li><li>Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan</li></ul><p><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to directly supervise up to 6-10 non-supervisory employees.</li><li>Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kelvion Thermal Solution&rsquo;s policies, procedures and applicable laws.</li><li>Must demonstrate and exhibit professional qualities when speaking with employees, whether in a one-on-one scenario or a group setting.</li><li>Responsibilities, as assigned by the Department Manager, will include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li></ul><p><strong><u>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. &nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence. &nbsp;Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematic drawing for pneumatic and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience in industrial maintenance required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer YOU:</strong></p><p>At Kelvion, we take your well-being seriously.
