This role involves leading a team of floor technicians, maintaining meticulous floor standards in high-traffic and guest-facing areas, and promoting a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout the property.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and oversee the day-to-day floor care operations including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors across all guest and public areas such as lobbies, corridors, gaming floors, restaurants, and event spaces.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Train EVS team members in proper floor care techniques, use of equipment, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols specific to hotel and casino environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality quality standards to maintain a polished and guest-ready floor appearance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform regular inspections of floors and floor care equipment, addressing issues promptly to prevent accidents or operational disruptions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate work schedules to ensure all floor care needs are met efficiently and effectively, especially during peak guest hours.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain inventory of floor care supplies, monitoring usage, and report to management the need for more supplies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with EVS management and other hotel departments to coordinate cleaning activities minimizing impact on guest experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other floor-related emergencies to uphold safety and cleanliness.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Encourage a team culture focused on excellence, attention to detail, and proactive maintenance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in other EVS duties as required to support overall property cleanliness and hygiene.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven experience in floor care and maintenance, ideally within hospitality, hotel, or casino settings.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of specialized floor care products and equipment suited for high-traffic commercial areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of hospitality industry cleanliness standards and guest service expectations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong communication, organizational, and team management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous floor care coverage.</li></ul><p></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Capacity to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.</li></ul></div><p>Comfortable working in fast-paced, guest-focused environments requiring discretion and professionalism.</p><p>Saracen Casino Resort is an equal opportunity employer.</p>\n",
