This experience consists of daily science, math and technology lessons complemented with youth development activities and programs focusing on character, leadership, and career development, sports and fitness, healthy lifestyles, and the arts. Summer sessions are from June 2 - August 1 at our Club locations.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong><u>*MUST have current Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>Responsible for instructing students in an elementary school from grades K-8. Creates lesson plans, administers praise and constructive criticism, instructs students on subjects such as science, literature, and math, and creates a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program. Knowledgeable of TYLER system. The classroom ratio is 1-16 in Missouri and 1-15 in Kansas sites.</p><p><strong>General Function:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Accurate accounting for daily attendance</li><li>Supervision of all children assigned to your group which could include, but may not be limited to:<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical conditions</li><li>Special accommodations (IEP,504)</li></ul></li><li>Pre-planning for all Academic and youth development program lessons to be presented</li><li>Adequate copies and supplies for all students</li><li>Reporting of any possible variables that may inhibit the teaching of a lesson before the lesson begins</li><li>Conducting pre and post program assessments</li><li>Assisting with conducting parent conferences or interventions as necessary</li><li>Reporting on time daily and adhering to all BGC staff requirements as outlined by each BGC Unit/Site Director.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>Substitutes must have a current Missouri substitute license.</strong></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Monday-Friday<br/>8:00am-3:30pm<br/>Or Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 7:00pm",
