Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Title:</strong> House Calls Podiatrist/ Driver provided!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> We are seeking a compassionate and experienced <strong>Podiatrist</strong> to provide high-quality, in-home foot and ankle care to patients across all five boroughs of New York City. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, patient-focused clinician who thrives in a mobile care environment and is passionate about improving access to care for homebound and underserved populations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel to patients’ homes to deliver podiatric evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including but not limited to diabetic foot care, ulcers, infections, corns, calluses, and toenail disorders.</li>\n <li>Provide wound care management and preventive foot care education to patients and caregivers.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the organization’s electronic health record system.</li>\n <li>Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.</li>\n <li>Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure proper use of medical equipment and supplies during visits.</li>\n <li>Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine.</li>\n <li>Current and unrestricted New York State podiatry license.</li>\n <li>Board certification or board eligibility in podiatric medicine or surgery (preferred).</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (home care experience is a plus).</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with EHR systems and mobile documentation tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDHP  $130,000k-$150,000k salary</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
