Fee For Service Social Worker - Child and Family Support Se University Settlement partners with 40,000 New Yorkers on the Lower East Side and in Brooklyn every year to build on their strengths as they achieve healthy, stable, and remarkable lives. For 135 years, we have collaborated with our communities to pioneer highly effective programs that fight poverty and systemic inequality. Established in 1886 as the first Settlement House in the United States, we bring the values of that movement into the 21st century by meeting New Yorkers where they live, listening to their perspectives, recognizing their excellence, understanding them as complete individuals, and creating space for them to organize. Joining together with our neighbors to advocate for justice and equality, we help build community strength. We work with New Yorkers of all ages. We infuse a commitment to civic engagement, equity, and communal action into each of our programs, which include early childhood education, mental health and wellness, benefits assistance and eviction prevention, adult literacy and education, healthy aging, community, and recreation centers, performing and visual arts, and youth development. Responsibilities: Provide assessments, individual and family therapy, and/or community psychiatric supports and treatment to an ethnically and culturally diverse population Provide Medicaid billable supports and services in person (including home, school, during after-school, and/or community locations) and/or using TeleHealth Provide services appropriate for the discipline, family’s strengths, and needs, and in accordance with OMH and NYS Medicaid regulations, and professional standards. Maintain clinical records in accordance with OMH standards, complete all necessary documentation required by OMH, NYS Medicaid and program policies. Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, training seminars and individual supervisory meetings, as required. Learn and utilize the electronic record charting system and maintain service hour tracking Other duties deemed necessary by the Director pertaining to provisions of effective services. Demonstrated ability to engage in new and challenging cases. Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required and certification in an Evidence Based Practice consistent with CPST or BA with three years applicable experience in children’s mental health, addiction, foster case/child welfare/juvenile justice or related human services field Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field, plus on year of applicable experience preferred LMSW or LCSW is a plus Two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with time limited treatment approaches Bilingual skills in English/Mandarin/Cantonese or English/Spanish preferred Work Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible schedule, late afternoon/early evening hours required, 5 hour per week, hybrid We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community. We infuse a commitment to civic engagement, equity, and communal action into each of our programs, which include early childhood education, mental health and wellness, benefits assistance and eviction prevention, adult literacy and education, healthy aging, community, and recreation centers, performing and visual arts, and youth development.\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nResponsibilities:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tProvide assessments, individual and family therapy, and/or community psychiatric supports and treatment to an ethnically and culturally diverse population\\r\\n\\tProvide Medicaid billable supports and services in person (including home, school, during after-school, and/or community locations) and/or using TeleHealth\\r\\n\\tProvide services appropriate for the discipline, family&rsquo;s strengths, and needs, and in accordance with OMH and NYS Medicaid regulations,&nbsp; and professional standards.\\r\\n\\tMaintain clinical records in accordance with OMH standards, complete all necessary documentation required by OMH, NYS Medicaid and program policies.\\r\\n\\tParticipate in staff meetings, case conferences, training seminars and individual supervisory meetings, as required.\\r\\n\\tLearn and utilize the electronic record charting system and maintain service hour tracking\\r\\n\\tOther duties deemed necessary by the Director pertaining to provisions of effective services.\\r\\n\\tDemonstrated ability to engage in new and challenging cases.\\r\\n\\tFunction as a member of an interdisciplinary team.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nQualifications:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tBachelor&rsquo;s Degree required and certification in an Evidence Based Practice consistent with CPST or BA with three years applicable experience in children&rsquo;s mental health, addiction, foster case/child welfare/juvenile justice or related human services field\\r\\n\\tMaster&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field, plus on year of applicable experience preferred\\r\\n\\tLMSW or LCSW is a plus\\r\\n\\tTwo years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred\\r\\n\\tExcellent oral and written communication skills\\r\\n\\tExperience with time limited treatment approaches\\r\\n\\tBilingual skills in English/Mandarin/Cantonese or English/Spanish preferred\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nWork Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible schedule, late afternoon/early evening hours required, 5 hour per week, hybrid\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.
