          "text": "<p>RESPEC is hiring a <strong>BI Developer</strong> to support a public sector partner by administering, developing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions. This role is hands-on and highly technical, with a strong focus on <strong>Google Looker (LookML)</strong> and <strong>SQL Server</strong>. You’ll work across data marts, dashboards, and reports—validating data quality, implementing business rules, and training both technical and non-technical users.</p><p>This is a great fit for someone who can move between business needs and technical execution, enjoys troubleshooting, and can work independently while collaborating closely with SMEs and stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Administer, develop, and maintain <strong>Google Looker</strong>:<ul><li>User administration, models, dashboards, user attributes</li><li>LookML development, dashboard design, visualizations</li><li>Build simple/complex Looks, merge queries, and tune performance</li></ul></li><li>Create and maintain <strong>SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)</strong> reports.</li><li>Develop and maintain <strong>SQL Server</strong> objects and logic:<ul><li>T-SQL, views, CTEs, functions, stored procedures</li><li>SQL processes/scripts to move and transform data between data marts</li></ul></li><li>Perform data analysis and validation:<ul><li>Analyze data for quality/completeness</li><li>Validate data marts and dashboards against source systems</li><li>Implement and document business rules and processes</li><li>Create and execute test cases for data and reporting requirements</li></ul></li><li>Troubleshoot data, dashboards, and reporting issues; respond to investigation requests.</li><li>Elicit and document requirements for data marts, dashboards, and reporting.</li><li>Create technical and end-user documentation; train users on Looker capabilities and best practices.</li><li>Apply appropriate handling of sensitive data, including recognizing and masking <strong>PII</strong>.</li><li>Take on team leadership activities as needed (mentoring, task assignment, code reviews, prioritization).</li></ul>",
