Comunale is seeking a Mechanic to oversee all aspects of the repair and maintenance on Company forklifts, scissor lifts, and vehicles.  A Mechanic is able to diagnose and accurately correct issues pertaining to the Company equipment.  </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnose issues with various types of equipment (scissor lifts, light and heavy-duty trucks, off road equipment, forklifts, construction equipment, boom lifts and vehicles).</li>\n <li>Make proper repairs to equipment as needed:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Replacing spindles</li>\n   <li>Replacing batteries (80-100lbs)</li>\n   <li>Replacing electric motors (35-65lbs)</li>\n   <li>Diagnosing electrical problems</li>\n   <li>Rebuilding control boxes</li>\n   <li>Replacing drive motors (35-65lbs)</li>\n   <li>Making hydraulic hoses</li>\n   <li>Pulling and replacing tires (10-100+lbs) – bar available for heavier tires</li>\n   <li>Pulling deck extensions – 2 man</li>\n   <li>Replacing deck and lift baskets – 2 man</li>\n   <li>Pulling hydraulic cylinders (10-100lbs)</li>\n   <li>Wiring</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Make recommendations regarding the state of the equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintaining equipment:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oil changes</li>\n   <li>Check fluid levels</li>\n   <li>Steam cleaning</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Completion of weekly and annual lift inspections.</li>\n <li>Receive/check in parts.</li>\n <li>Seasonal snow removal.</li>\n <li>Housekeeping duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED is required.</li>\n <li>5+ years experience servicing forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment/vehicles is required.</li>\n <li>5+ years experience working with hydraulics and/or electrical circuitry is required.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. </li>\n <li>Current lift certifications in JLG Training, Sky Jack, and Genie are a plus.</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.</li>\n <li>Class A CDL is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
