Key aspects of the role include sourcing and supplier management support, materials/supplies planning and procurement, and inventory management. This will be a mostly onsite role in either West Jordan, Utah or San Mateo, CA. Must be local to either location or willing to relocate prior to hire.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Execute sourcing strategies for goods and services required to support manufacturing operations.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate supplier selection and sourcing initiatives, foster supplier relationships, and collaborate with Quality to add suppliers to ASL (Approved Supplier List).</li><li>Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvements.</li><li>Purchase and coordinate movement of materials and supplies to meet production schedule and requirements.</li><li>Create purchase orders, including supporting documentation for completeness and clarity; communicate purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery schedule.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain target inventory levels and budgeted cost; minimize excess or scrap of obsolete materials.</li><li>Mitigate supply risks, actively monitor status of open purchase orders, expedite when needed to avoid disruptions in supply.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage and resolve issues regarding purchase orders, invoicing discrepancies, returns, nonconformances and corrective actions with suppliers.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance for issue resolution or process improvements.</li><li>Support MRP system related activities and data maintenance, including reporting, item/BOM creation and updates, corrections, and improvements.</li><li>Support R&amp;D and Engineering with supplier setup, material readiness, and qualification activities.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SKILLS FOR SUCCESS</strong>:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Must be local to either location or willing to relocate at your own expense prior to hire.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with varying levels of the organization.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Capability to balance immediate and longer-term priorities</li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment with a strong sense of urgency.</li><li>Detail-oriented execution of duties with a compliance mindset and commitment to meeting goals.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Associate degree or equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>APICS certification preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing/planning in medical device industry with knowledge of GMP practices and ISO 13485 regulatory requirements.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>1+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (i.e., NetSuite, Oracle) a plus.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:13.5pt;\"><br></p><p><strong>BENEFITS &amp; PERKS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Comprehensive healthcare benefits are effective day one!
