    "description": "<p>Come join our Respiratory Therapy team!!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Schedule: Night shift, mix of 9.5 hours and 12-hour shifts</p>\n<p>2-week schedule rotation as follows: <br>Week 1 : 3 days</p>\n<p>Week 2 : 4 days</p>\n<p>Shift: 9 PM - 6:30 AM  (weekdays) and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (weekends)</p>\n<p>Hours per pay period: 70</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Is responsible for providing direct patient care, under medical direction, through the use of diagnostic, therapeutic, life support and rehabilitative evaluation methods and techniques. Patient group includes those with cardiac, pulmonary, neuromuscular and infectious diseases as well as those with post surgical or traumatic respiratory deficiencies.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Relationships:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to Director of Respiratory Care.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Training Required:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy</li>\n<li>Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Wisconsin or eligible</li>\n<li>CRT or RRT (or eligible)</li>\n<li>Certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS (current or within 1 year of hire) BLS (required)</li>\n<li>Meets health requirements</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to communicate and work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.</li>\n<li>Ability to exercise independent judgment.</li>\n<li>Maintains good physical and emotional well-being.</li>\n<li>Role model for healthy lifestyle.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical Demands:\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent sitting, standing and walking in order to perform assessments, treatments and testing on patients as well as documentation of same.</li>\n<li>Frequent lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying up to 10 pounds of records and/or supplies.</li>\n<li>Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds for assisting patients in repositioning or transferring. Must utilize additional assistance for moving or setting up equipment for testing.</li>\n<li>Frequent balancing while leaning across beds and patients to assess and monitor.</li>\n<li>Occasional bending, and kneeling while positioning patients and/or equipment.</li>\n<li>Occasional reaching, handling and fine manipulation while setting up and administering treatments.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Sight:\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous use of near vision for computer work, policies/procedures, typing, etc.</li>\n<li>Frequent use of near and accommodation while using computers for documentation and moving back and forth between computers and patients.</li>\n<li>Occasional use of peripheral and far vision, depth perceptions and color distinction.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Cognition/Communication:\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent use of simple and complex reading, writing and math skills.</li>\n<li>Frequent use of conversational and telephone skills.</li>\n<li>Frequent leadership and teaching ability.</li>\n<li>Continuous ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.</li>\n<li>Frequent goal setting, program development/community needs and regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Environmental Conditions:\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous indoor, well-lit and environmentally controlled environment.</li>\n<li>Frequent patient environment.</li>\n<li>Occasionally works outdoors with temperature extremes related to weather.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Potential Hazards:\n<ul>\n<li>Frequent exposure to blood/body fluids and disease requiring PPE.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to sharps and red, infectious waste.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Psychological, Situational, Functional Factors:\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous exposure to frequently changing tasks.</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and management stressful situations.</li>\n<li>Continuous use of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.</li>\n<li>Frequent flexibility in schedule as well as work assignments (i.e. nebs, teaching students, diagnostics or ventilator management or administrative duties, rotation of shifts, on call hours, sustained concentrations and use of interpretive skills when assessing patients an during testing procedures.</li>\n<li>Occasionally may be exposed to disorientates or agitated patients who need to be calmed and/or restrained.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>",
