    "description": "<h2>More information about this job</h2>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>The Piledriver is knowledgeable in heavy rigging, and preferably has basic to advanced rigging (per NCCER). Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. This is a permanent job working 40 hours per week, with overtime periodically. Monday thru Thursday working 9 hour days and 4 hours on Friday. Based at Cajun's equipment services yard in Port Allen, La..</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>*The following are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Erect and dismantle lattice boom cranes</li>\n <li>Interpret hand signals in order to direct cranes for pile driving activities</li>\n <li>Read prints and take measurements to assist in laying out</li>\n <li>Plumb piles with levels</li>\n <li>Assist other craft workers as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.</li>\n <li>Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs</li>\n <li>Hand/eye coordination</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work</li>\n <li>Will need to be able to perform sedentary to heavy work</li>\n <li>May operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, and pneumatic) of all types</li>\n <li>Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds</li>\n <li>Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis</li>\n <li>Position may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling,  reaching overhead, squatting, pushing /pulling, or standing and lifting</li>\n <li>Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.</li>\n <li>May be required to work in confined spaces</li>\n <li>Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mental</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to communicate effectively with management/ supervision</li>\n <li>Reading and writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy</li>\n <li>Ability to use math/complete calculations</li>\n <li>Work at various tempos, and concentrate amid distractions</li>\n <li>Decision making skills necessary</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented; must be able to remember, examine, and observe details</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
