This role supervises and supports Lead DSPs and DSPs, maintains facility operations, and under the guidance of the Assistant Director, supports individuals in achieving meaningful goals, community involvement, and independence.</span></span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Essential Responsibilities:</span><br></span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Program Oversight &amp; Operations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Implement, manage, monitor, and evaluate assigned programs in accordance with established standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Oversee daily program operations and ensure assigned facilities are safe, functional, and in optimal condition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Ensure the wants, needs, preferences, and personal goals of persons supported are honored and actively supported.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Provide intervention and leadership during emergencies and hospitalizations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Support admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure continuity of services.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Leadership &amp; Supervision</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Provide direct supervision and leadership to Lead DSPs and DSPs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Collaborate with the Assistant Director and Human Resources in recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Facilitate training opportunities to improve service quality and ensure staff maintain required certifications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Provide coverage and support to other Program Managers as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Manage conflict using person-centered coaching and professional problem-solving strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Foster leadership development for self and direct reports.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Person-Centered Planning &amp; Community Integration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Provide direct guidance to ensure person-centered services and individualized supports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Gain an understanding of each individual’s abilities, interests, and preferences to support employment, life goals, and independence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Collaborate with Community Supports Leadership to develop and expand diversified services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Promote community involvement and meaningful relationships for persons supported.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Participate in Collaborative Support Plan (CSP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Monitor DSP documentation weekly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Utilize designated electronic health record systems for daily documentation and communication.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports and statistics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Assist in gathering and submitting information related to critical incident reports and Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) investigations within required timelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Participate in corrective action planning, audits, and licensing/compliance reviews.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Assist with the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Maintain program and/or home budgets responsibly.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Training, Safety &amp; Quality Assurance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Collaborate with Innovative Services on the use of technology to support skill development and independence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Coordinate and implement recommendations from therapeutic and clinical meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Ensure all safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements are maintained.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Initiate additional training opportunities as available through contracted or community supports.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Need:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum age: 18</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Services or, AA with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Human Services, or High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in Human Services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Valid driver’s license and Social Security number</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability to type 70+ WPM and navigate basic computer systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must pass background checks, DMV screening, Medicaid exclusion, fingerprinting (if SC resident &lt;1 year), and provide 3 professional references</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This role involves regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and hands-on support.
