We would be happy to hear from you at&nbsp;<strong>Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital</strong>, where we are now a Primary Stroke Center and building a brand new 9 story hospital.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Join us and support our community with the highest quality healthcare!<br><br><strong>*$10,000 Employee Referral Program bonus eligible</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>As a Charge Nurse in our Float Pool, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in multiple inpatient departments.&nbsp; Our nursing float pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need.&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position will focus primarily on our Medical Surgical, Telemetry, MSSU and Ortho Units</li>\n <li>Critical Care (as needed)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>You’ll provide oversight of unit operations on the assigned shift.&nbsp; Address problems, concerns and/or unanticipated events in a manner that optimizes the smooth functioning of the unit.&nbsp; Serve as a role model and preceptor to unit staff.&nbsp;In fulfilling all responsibilities, consider not only the unit perspective but also a broader organizational perspective.&nbsp; Prepare monthly work schedules, make daily patient assignments, schedule breaks and meal periods.&nbsp; Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Our Units:</strong></p>\n<p>The Float Pool is a high level performing department staffed with healthcare professionals who are equipped to work in various areas of the hospital. These highly trained professionals working in the Float Pool support the organization by having the ability to care for some or all of the specialty patient populations.
