The Food Service Worker I will assist with cleaning dishes, assist in prepairing food trays to be delivered to patients and residents, cleaning the work areas and stocking kitchen and caf&eacute; areas.</p><p><br></p><p>Uphold the organization&rsquo;s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization&rsquo;s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Collect and wash pots, pans, dishes, and food carts</li><li>Store clean dishes, silverware and kitchen utensils in assigned locations</li><li>Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery and maintain sanitation and infection control according to established procedures</li><li>Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitized</li><li>Monitor eating areas in the Fireweed Caf&eacute; to ensure the tables are clean during the day when it&rsquo;s open.</li><li>At the end of the shift, clean the cafeteria to prepare for service the next day&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in preparation and delivery of menu items for residents, patients and caf&eacute; customers; portioning food into containers, serving food and preparing drinks as requested.</li><li>Assist with stock and inventory of cafeteria food and service items, assist with freight on arrival, rotate stock in the refrigerators, freezers and dry storage areas.</li><li>Unload food and equipment deliveries and keep the storeroom organized</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Personal Traits:</strong></p><p>All Norton Sound Health Corporation employees are expected to consistently demonstrate the organization&rsquo;s values: integrity, cultural sensitivity and respect for traditional values, continual learning and improving, compassion, teamwork and pride.
