This position performs preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of food production equipment, including processing, packaging, refrigeration, and utility systems.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role is responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer&#39;s specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SHIFT REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This is a 3rd shift position that works one shift. M-TH 9:30pm &ndash; 8:00am.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</u></strong><u>&nbsp;</u></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Repair all production equipment as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform breakdown analysis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform general housekeeping.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with outside contractors&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform technical writing in the Maintenance CMMS system.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">18 years or older</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics).</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associates Degree in Electromechanical Technology or Certificate in Industrial Electronics and Maintenance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with refrigeration systems (e.g., compressors/ammonia systems).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with conveyers (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with meat slicing /high speed production&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with SERVO (e.g., intelligent/robotic motors, in-coders, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in team-based environments (working together with others).</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>NUESKE&rsquo;S CULTURE ELEMENTS:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At Nueske&rsquo;s, we share a few basic Culture Elements.
