Beryl is growing nationally, and now is the most exciting time to join our team. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We're looking for an experienced and driven Regional Operations Manager to lead our bike share and e-scooter scheme across Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on management role responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality day-to-day delivery of the scheme, from fleet maintenance and team management to stakeholder relationships and service growth. </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You'll be the face of Beryl in the region, working closely with local councils, contractors, and community partners, while leading a team of mechanics and operational staff to deliver an exceptional service.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Beryl bike share and e-scooter scheme across Hertfordshire, ensuring safe, reliable, and responsive service delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead, manage and develop a team of mechanics and operational staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drive performance and accountability across the team, ensuring all processes, training, and compliance requirements are met.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with HR to manage onboarding, training and development, ensuring team members are supported to grow within Beryl.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and implement local operational strategies to maximise fleet utilisation and scheme performance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee scheduled and reactive maintenance of the bike, e-bike, and e-scooter fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe and operational at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage relationships with local contractors, overseeing the quality and delivery of work carried out on Beryl's behalf.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Build and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders including the council, police, businesses, and community groups.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage regional inventory, stock, and equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient use of resources.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support the identification and delivery of scheme expansions and service improvements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Contribute to ongoing operational improvement by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and sharing learnings with the wider Beryl team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage the regional budget and report on key operational metrics<br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills and Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven experience in an operational or field management role, ideally within transport, logistics, facilities, or a related sector.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing frontline or technical teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with public sector clients or council partners.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A track record of problem-solving in a fast-paced, service-led environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience managing contractors and third-party suppliers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Comfortable working in a technology-enabled environment, with the ability to use operational management systems and reporting tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A genuine passion for sustainable transport and active travel.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;
