Odyssey House helps New Yorkers of all ages&mdash;and across all five boroughs&mdash;beat drugs and alcohol with highly individualized treatment programs. Odyssey House provides high quality, holistic treatment impacting all major life spheres, including psychological, physical, social, family, educational and spiritual in order to support personal rehabilitation, renewal and family restoration.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>MAJOR FUNCTIONS:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Under the direction of the Program Director the Clinical Director is responsible for the delivery of all clinical treatment services in an OASAS 820 certified residential services program. She/he ensures the quality of treatment services, the fidelity of evidence-based service delivery and timely documentation of all group and individual counseling services and support services delivered by the facility&rsquo;s clinical staff. She/he is responsible for oversight of job performance, guidance of all clinical staff members and for the direct supervision of each of the clinical Deputy Directors. She/he is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance and assuring that programs operate in accordance with Odyssey House organizational standards.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>SPECIFIC DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">1. Implement, monitor and provide oversight of all aspects related to the delivery of residential substance use disorder services.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">2. Conducts regular and direct observations of all clinical treatment activities.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">3. Implement and ensure compliance with all clinical policies and procedures and protocols.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">4. Ensure compliance with all referent communications, HRA STARS reporting, and HRA finger imaging verification.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">5. Provide crisis intervention services.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">6. Conduct utilization review, incident management and review and quality assurance reviews.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">7. Assure that staff maintains accurate and confidential clinical records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policy and procedures.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">8. Prepare all proposals and reports as needed.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">9. Assume responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">10. Assure all clinical staff members are adequately trained.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">11. Provide and implements formal orientation plan to newly hired direct subordinate staff.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">12. Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">13. Provide direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies. Prepare written annual evaluations on staff under his/her supervision. Review evaluations of all clinical staff members.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">14. Provide ongoing training for clinical staff and participate in Odyssey House in-service trainings.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">15. Lead clinical quality improvement activities in collaboration with Program Director.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">16. Represent Odyssey House at community and public forums.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">17. Other relevant duties as assigned by Program Director.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND&nbsp;</strong><strong>ABILITIES</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">1. Master&rsquo;s Level Clinical Degree and five (5) years administrative or clinical experience working within a substance use disorder treatment setting required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">2. Two (2) years&rsquo; experience in an administration and/or clinical supervisory role required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">3. Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, CASAC etc.) required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">4. Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record and Outlook programs)</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">5. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">6.
