    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>We are looking for an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Application Engineer — Workday Payroll</span> to join our team and provide subject matter expertise in Workday Payroll and related HR modules. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of Workday and other enterprise business applications, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems such as SAP and ServiceNow.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides subject matter expertise on Payroll Workday or one or more of the following Workday Modules: Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, Time and Attendance Tracking, Integration, Security and Data Conversion</li>\n<li>Supports the software development lifecycle for software solutions</li>\n<li>Deploys, configures, and supports business applications</li>\n<li>Configures, customizes, and integrates vendor-sourced enterprise software with other internal systems like SAP</li>\n<li>Updates existing code to debug or incorporate minor enhancements</li>\n<li>Develops deep domain knowledge by understanding business processes</li>\n<li>Elicits business requirements and translates business needs into fit-for-purpose actionable plans</li>\n<li>Actively participates in an integrated DevOps Team utilizing Agile methodologies with strong change management focus</li>\n<li>Provides daily operational support for several applications by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions, identifying, and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance</li>\n<li>Proactive communication and quick response to production issues and project work. </li>\n<li>Strong customer focus</li>\n<li>Monitors interfaces/data loads, administer security, and provide feedback/solutions on application performance</li>\n<li>Identifies areas for improvement and partners with Software Engineers/team members to address tactical and strategic issues.</li>\n<li>Develops and maintains support documentation</li>\n<li>Maintains IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Knowledgeable in any of the following technologies:</span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Workday related areas such as advanced custom reports, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services </span></li>\n<li><span>ServiceNow related areas such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Suite (case and knowledge management), ServiceNow system administration, ServiceNow portal configuration (portal, widgets, and content automation), integrations (REST and SOAP services)</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span>Skilled in Workday related to one or more of the following: Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integration, Security and Data Conversion Skilled in scripting to automate workflow, and in low code development platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skilled on Payroll Workday</span><span> or one or more of the following Workday Modules: Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, Time and Attendance Tracking, Integration, Security and Data Conversion</span></li>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of software engineering principles</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong communication (written/verbal) and facilitation skills with solid ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to engage difficulties with persistence</span></li>\n<li><span>Self-directed, flexible, working with minimal supervision, takes initiative, displays a high degree of ownership</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to effectively deal with change and consistently maintain composure and logical thinking while under pressure</span></li>\n<li><span>Organized and skilled at planning.
