In addition to teaching, the candidate will be expected to participate in scholarly and university &amp; community service.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>\n\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Doctorate degree (DNP or PhD) from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.</li>\n\t<li>Current Tennessee or compact RN license.</li>\n\t<li>Current Tennessee or compact APRN license in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Practice.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.</li>\n\t<li>Strong leadership skills in developing, evaluating, and marketing graduate programs.</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge and skills with software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li>\n\t<li>Proficiency in using instructional technologies to teach hybrid and/or distance learning (online) courses.</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate responsibility for curriculum development and instruction.</li>\n\t<li>Understanding of and willingness to teach competencies required for specific courses.</li>\n\t<li>Excellence in teaching and facilitating the learning process for students.</li>\n\t<li>Applying diverse instructional strategies with emphasis in developing and delivering online courses.</li>\n\t<li>Excellent oral, written, and listening skills.</li>\n\t<li>Assign and update grades for courses in a timely fashion.</li>\n\t<li>Complete course assessment documentation upon course conclusion.</li>\n\t<li>Willingness to work in an inter-disciplinary capacity with other majors with the School of Nursing &amp; Health Professions.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Conduct program, course, and student outcomes assessments.</li>\n\t<li>Advise and mentor students.</li>\n\t<li>Plan, implement, and evaluate course quality and academic integrity.</li>\n\t<li>Lead accreditation review the program of study.</li>\n\t<li>Evaluate and mentor program faculty.</li>\n\t<li>Develop curricula in order to maintain program relevance.</li>\n\t<li>Marketing and recruiting for the graduate program.</li>\n\t<li>Participate in scholarly and service commitments in ways that promotes the Missions of Cumberland and the Rudy School of Nursing &amp;&#160;Health Professions.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Application Requirements:</strong>&#160;An electronic version of your cover letter, curriculum vitae, unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and contact information for three (3) references is required.</p>",
