Responsibilities
Salary: $26/hour
Position Overview:
The Engineering Intern effectively assists Manufacturing Management with various productivity initiatives and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Work together with floor personnel to gather samples and discover methods to improve tool quality and efficiency. Create work instructions where needed. Manage and organize multiple priorities. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Coursework towards Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. Junior or Senior standing preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be detail oriented. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office ' Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
