This technician will need to be self-motivated and be able to operate and work within the most critical areas and operate equipment that serves these areas.&nbsp;This job will be located at the APCO corporate headquarters building in Birmingham AL.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Active State of Alabama Electrical Contractors License (Required to provide proof before interviewing)</li>\n <li>The maintenance technician position requires general experience &amp; knowledge in HVAC/Controls, Electrical, and/or Plumbing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>&nbsp; Vast knowledge of the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commercial /industrial electrical maintenance, repair, and installation</li>\n <li>Electronic and pneumatic controls, equipment and systems maintenance, repair, and installation</li>\n <li>Hydraulic equipment and systems maintenance, repair, and installation</li>\n <li>HVAC systems maintenance, repair, and installation of Chillers &amp; HVAC equipment</li>\n <li>Codes, i.e., NEC, OSHA, Building and Plumbing</li>\n <li>Required and contingent for the position within first 60 days of employment:&nbsp;NERC CIP Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain, repair, modify and install equipment and systems to maintain a comfortable environment for customers.</li>\n <li>Perform general inspections and preventive maintenance.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with national/local codes and regulations, to provide a safe, reliable work environment.</li>\n <li>Maintain/clean equipment rooms, related equipment, and panels.</li>\n <li>Maintain facility systems, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.
