This is a P/T, casual, project-based position.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The <strong>API 653 Tank Inspector</strong>&nbsp;is responsible for <strong>providing Tank QA inspection services at various client facilities.</strong></p><p><span style=\"background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(33,33,33);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;display:inline !important;float:none;font-size:14.001px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-decoration-color:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;\">Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.</span></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Above ground storage tank inspection oriented toward existing tanks that have been in service</li><li>Quality assurance of field and clerical activities including inspection and repair.</li><li>Assure customer and code driven requirements are met.</li><li>Witness/audit of NDE activities, assure that qualified folks are utilizing the proper tools in good working condition and employing the correct techniques. (Vacuum box, LPT, MPT, MFL, SMFL, AUT, etc.)</li><li>Assure that Quality Control packages are properly assembled and assembled in a timely fashion as the tank work progresses.</li><li>Coordinate with client project managers on various tank repair projects.</li><li>Act as Tank Entry Supervisor on various tank activities.</li><li>Review drawings with repair contractor; ensure repairs are performed per drawings, per API code.</li><li>Also ensure projects are complete on time and safely.</li><li>Coordinate with various contractors throughout the project, moving contractors in and out.</li><li>Perform walk­throughs will client field departments to make sure adequate repairs were completed.</li><li>Track manpower on all active projects daily.</li><li>Track progress on all active projects daily.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform monthly DOT visual inspections.</li><li>Keep track of all DOT paperwork throughout duration of job.</li></ul><p>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have current API 653 certification with a minimum of 5&nbsp;years’ experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in midstream/gas plant/NGL type equipment.</li><li>Must be familiar with in-service and out-of-service tank inspection</li><li>Must be able to work independently.</li><li>Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)</li><li>TWIC card (required)</li><li>Knowledgeable in Microsoft software, and various IDMS platforms.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Additional API certifications (API 510/570) and/or CWI certification&nbsp;</li><li>API Tank Entry Supervisor (TES)</li><li>Additional certifications (NACE, ACI) a plus</li><li>ACAD experience is a plus.</li><li>Relevant inspection certifications such as RT, UTSW, MT, PT, ET, IR, TOFD, PA, VT Level II are also considered a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
