          "text": "<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>South Shore Regional Hospital (SSRH), in Bridgewater, is seeking a full-time general surgeon to join their team of general surgeons with a 1:5 call rotation. The role requires a full spectrum of general surgical services appropriate to a secondary care center. An interest in breast surgery would be considered an asset. Compensation is currently Fee for Service, with an estimated income range of $425,000 to $475,000 annually. Your annual income will depend solely on your own clinical output. In addition, specialist receive on-call stipends and other incentives as available through the Master Agreement of Nova Scotia.<br>\nDeadline for expression of interest in this position is June 1, 2026.
