We’re stronger together.</p>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Repair and maintenance of dies within a timely manner</li>\n <li>Ensure tools are ready according to production schedule</li>\n <li>Monitor production status of dies</li>\n <li>Drive quality improvements of tools based on changeover times hits/hour, and quality.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Order spare parts and Tool components,</li>\n <li>Meet with outside Die shops and obtains quotes for any work to be sub-contracted. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Address employee suggestions as required and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Keeps management informed daily – no surprises. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Comply with all ISO14001 TS16949 standards.</li>\n <li>Reviews requirement and monitors daily quality status of production tooling to ensure total defect free shipments. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Performs customer visits as required. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensures equipment breakdowns and downtime is dealt with immediately.</li>\n <li>Coordinate implement and monitor effectiveness of all initiatives generated to improve productivity, safety, and report back when done and any other duties that may be assigned.</li>\n <li>Maintains timely records and information.</li>\n <li>Performs all other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>General</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complies with the designated IATF16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health &amp; safety and company rules and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors. &nbsp;Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required</li>\n <li>Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.</li>\n <li>Strives for continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently working towards obtaining a valid Tool &amp; Die Makers Certificate and 3 to 5 years of job-related experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br><strong>EOE </strong>-<strong> </strong>Samuel, Son &amp; Co.
