With offices across the United States, no matter where you are based, joining Sequoia Sentinel means becoming part of a collaborative, high-caliber team committed to excellence and making a meaningful impact on the financial futures of families for generations to come.</p><p>Summary of position:</p><p>We seek a detailed, motivated, and experienced strategist to join our Sentinel team, servicing our Family Wealth and Family Office clients. This individual should have in-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment solutions and family office clients with intricate ownership structures. This role will join our Sentinel advisors in prospecting; client engagements aligning investment strategy with client goals and communicates portfolio decisions clearly and proactively.&nbsp;</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support advisors in proposal creation for UHNW clients, conducting an analysis of the prospects current investments and producing a recommended allocation and transition plan.&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting advisors in prospect and client meeting, providing support on investment reviews and address any investment related questions.&nbsp;</li><li>Ongoing engagement with Sequoia Investment Research to maintain a deep understanding of investment solutions and ongoing investment management activity.&nbsp;</li><li>Track contributions, withdrawals, capital calls, and distributions while maintaining accurate liquidity needs within the client&#39;s portfolio.</li><li>&nbsp;Continuously monitor portfolio allocations for drift relative to IPS guidelines, identifying variances from target ranges and recommending rebalancing when appropriate.</li><li>Oversee portfolio transition to Sentinel target asset allocations, factoring in tax impact, liquidity windows and clients risk objective.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct indication of interest analysis for pending investment opportunities factoring in capacity and recommended sizing.</li><li>Propose transition and rebalance opportunities to advisors, often with a multiple phased approach.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Required Skills/Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree&nbsp;</li><li>3-5 years of experience in wealth or investment management.&nbsp;</li><li>Enjoys working in fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across organization through both verbal and written communication.</li><li>Intermediate understanding of public and private markets including investment structure.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong proficiency in Excel (run and create functions, pivot tables and charts).</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills/Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, finance or accounting</li><li>Quick adaptation to technology</li><li>Trading knowledge</li><li>Strong business acumen</li><li>Ability to work well under stress</li><li>Solid understanding of financial markets</li><li>Excellent analytical skills&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Competencies</h3><ul><li>Enjoys team environment</li><li>Self-starter who is motivated to learn</li><li>Interest in financial markets</li></ul></div>\n",
