To achieve this, we are looking for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">motivated intern/working student</span> to support the team by<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> developing creative solutions and applying new methods for the energy services of tomorrow.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Performing power grid calculations (with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, FGH Integral, PSS/E, PSCAD);</span></li>\n<li><span>Performing grid &amp; energy market modelling;</span></li>\n<li><span>Performing data analysis (with Excel VBA, R, MATLAB, Python or similar languages);</span></li>\n<li><span>Supporting in preparation of consultancy presentations;</span></li>\n<li><span>Supporting in business development activities such as tender preparation.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your profile</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or the end of a bachelor’s degree in industrial/electrical engineering or similar disciplines; </li>\n<li>Motivated quick-learning team player with high analytical and transversal abilities;</li>\n<li>Familiar with steady state grid calculations and power systems stability concepts;</li>\n<li>Understanding of/interest in the energy transition and power sector related topics, such as power grid, energy markets, and renewable energy;</li>\n<li>Experience (ideally) working with one of the grid calculations &amp; modelling tools (<span>DIgSILENT PowerFactory, FGH Integral, PSS/E)</span>;</li>\n<li>Experience with one of the data analysis tool (<span>Excel VBA, R, MATLAB, Python or similar languages)</span>; </li>\n<li>Interest in solving problems and taking on new challenges;<br></li>\n<li>Fluent in English and German;<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fair compensation with flexible working hours - 6 months duration min.\n<ul>\n<li>37h/week for interns</li>\n<li>up to 20h/week for working students</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>A mentor who will guide you and give you a regular feedback;</li>\n<li>The opportunity to quickly take responsibility and leverage your knowledge and skills; </li>\n<li>Possibility to develop your master thesis in the company;</li>\n<li>Having the resources to work on the solutions to succeed the energy transition worldwide<span>;</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At EGI, we value diversity and inclusion.
