Seize the opportunity to shape the future of geotechnical drilling with us</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">Proposals and Estimating Associate</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We are seeking a highly motivated Proposals and Estimating Associate (PEA) to join our team at Geotech Drilling, a leading geotechnical and exploration drilling company. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day client interactions, generating proposals and estimates, and identifying new leads. You will work closely with our business development and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and support our growth. Conference attendance is only required on an as-needed basis.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt\">Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt\">Develop and deliver proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical and exploration drilling projects, working closely with the sales team to ensure accuracy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt\">Track and report on sales activity, maintaining accurate records of interactions, leads, and opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt\">Act as the primary point of contact for daily client communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and fostering strong relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt\">Proactively reach out to potential clients via cold calls and other lead generation strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Works with internal teams to ensure that prerequisites (i.e., MSA's, ISN, other pre-qualifications or getting on a vendor list) are completed in a timely manner.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensures all administrative requirements are completed on time, and appropriate documentation sent to the appropriate department for filing or follow-up (i.e., time sheets, business development tracking sheets, progress reports, etc.).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct timely follow-ups with clients to close sales, confirm project details, and maintain ongoing relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with the internal team to ensure the smooth transition of client accounts from sales to execution.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Completes other duties as required (i.e., this position requires a high degree of flexibility and from time to time may require additional duties to be completed outside the daily role described above).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Operates within Geotech's communities with the highest sense of integrity and social responsibility, and complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Development and tracking of customer satisfaction metrics, including the measurement of customer satisfaction post project completion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other responsibilities to support the Sales &amp; Business Development group as instructed by the Director.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">Professional Experience/ Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Microsoft Business Central Dynamics 365 experience is considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience in the drilling industry considered a strong asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with proposals, estimates &amp; work plans considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience in business related to customer service or related field considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Works well under pressure and performs well within tight deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Confident and able to maintain professional dialogue in busy networking settings.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">H</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">o</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 94, 153)\">urs of Work:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, 30-minute lunch.
