Whether working on railways and facilities or yards, our team excels in resilient, sustainable design and construction, delivering innovative solutions that address the complexities of modern railway systems and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable travel for all​. Explore some of our signature Transportation projects here.   </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>What you'll be challenged to do:</strong> </p>\n<p>Currently seeking a Track Engineering Manager within our Transit and Freight Rail Sectors. The candidate will work with multi-discipline teams on wide-ranging transit and rail projects as well as assisting in maintaining existing client relationships.  The successful candidate will have a diverse background with extensive experience with transit and freight rail design and capable of being an integral part of a project team committed to providing high quality designs.  </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for overall Track Project Management including scope development, contract negotiations, staff management, project delivery, quality, and safety. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as lead Track Engineer on projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assures that projects are completed within the allocated time and budget. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide team leadership and technical expertise. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of junior engineers and technicians serving as direct reports to the Track Manager </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Grow and mentor staff, help recruit, and be a positive role model. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists with writing proposals and making presentations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies such as AREMA. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Serves as a technical specialist for the organization for an assigned area of responsibility. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform Independent Reviews of major projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you'll bring to our firm:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering field required </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>20+ years of progressive experience in design of major transit/freight rail engineering transportation projects </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communications skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience working with transit agencies and/or Class 1 Railroads </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lead civil/track aspects on multiple assignments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience in the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, construction phasing, and construction schedules </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive working knowledge of OpenRail Designer and Civil3D platforms </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various engineering and scheduling software </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional Engineer license required  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> </p>\n<p>The range for this position is salary range is $190,000-$230,000.
