    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">** Schedule is Thursdays - Mondays - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm**</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Role &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The individual will be the communication bridge between the import department, dispatch department, warehouse, airport pick up agent and airlines.</li>\n<li>Dispatch airport recovery agent for all incoming shipments for MEC ORD.</li>\n<li>Update and maintain Excel pick up list multiple times throughout the day so other departments have visibility for all pickups on that day.</li>\n<li>Update system when cargo arrives at warehouse.</li>\n<li>Pay airlines when needed through Paycargo or other necessary payment methods.</li>\n<li>File pre-claims with airlines/freight handler for damages when needed.</li>\n<li>Ensure all customer KPI’s are met daily.</li>\n<li>Load planning/building loads, communicating heavily with team members for consolidation opportunities.</li>\n<li>Build &amp; maintain relationships with Carriers.</li>\n<li>Negotiate &amp; book trucks in the most cost-effective ways while following customer requirements and insuring on time delivery.</li>\n<li>Create BOL’s/Delivery Orders in a timely manner, making sure Customs Clearances are in hand before releasing goods.</li>\n<li>Data Entry, enter milestones into Morrison system in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Answer emails in a timely &amp; professional manner.</li>\n<li>Track and trace orders and enter &amp; upload POD information into the system once delivered.</li>\n<li>Approve invoices.</li>\n<li>Good driving record, have your own personal vehicle, and able to run to the airport cargo area for cargo inspections.</li>\n<li>Other duties assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>HS Diploma</li>\n<li>1-3 years in a dispatch or truck brokerage environment negotiating rates and booking Dry Vans, Straight Trucks and Sprinter/Cargo Vans with carriers.</li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of excel.</li>\n<li>Experience with planning/scheduling preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment with a Good Can-Do Attitude.</li>\n<li>Good Time Management with attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Looking for a detail-oriented individual with the ability to maintain a good positive attitude towards employees, customers, and carriers with the willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work extended hours when needed.</li>\n</ul>",
