    "description": "<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<p>SCS Engineers is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our OM&M Field Services division. Our projects help a diversified client base achieve their renewable energy goals by reducing their carbon footprint and creating useful by-products from waste material. SCS builds systems that power universities, wastewater treatment plants and dairies; generate renewable natural gas sales; and support electric utilities. You will handle day-to-day site management of the construction of renewable power and gas-processing facilities. </p>\n<h2>How you can make an impact</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leading and managing the on-site construction team, including subcontractors</li>\n <li>Coordinating and overseeing all work on site</li>\n <li>Attending weekly production and scheduling meetings</li>\n <li>Working with SCS safety personnel, ensure compliance with health and safety standards</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with quality standards</li>\n <li>Monitor and report on project progress</li>\n <li>Following the project schedule to ensure deadlines are met</li>\n <li>Ensure contractors are complying with applicable codes, standards and permit requirements</li>\n <li>Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals</li>\n <li>Ensure job site remains safe, clean and orderly</li>\n <li>Resolve on-site issues and emergencies</li>\n <li>Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field is desirable, but not required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 15 years of experience supervising construction projects in a related field required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality, safety and health guidelines for construction job sites</li>\n <li>In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Word</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents</li>\n <li>Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), hand excavation/digging (using shovels/picks), carrying and climbing ladders, operating and working from man lifts, operating electric tools, (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools, (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), and providing services under various weather conditions</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $38.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>Whether it's reducing methane emissions at agricultural facilities and landfills, repurposing contaminated properties, producing alternative energy, or sequestering carbon, we've been focused on finding smart climate solutions and improving the natural environment since our inception over 50 years ago.
