You will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and reporting on suspicious activity across our platform, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and trust.</span></p>\n<p><span>This is a<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> hands-on role</span> perfect for someone who is passionate about cryptocurrency, has a keen eye for detail, and is motivated by the challenge of identifying illicit activity in a complex and evolving landscape.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Transaction Monitoring:</span></span><span> Actively monitor customer transactions in real-time and through periodic reviews using our automated monitoring systems to identify potentially suspicious activity related to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crimes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Alert Investigation:</span></span><span> Conduct thorough and timely investigations of system-generated alerts and cases. Analyze transaction patterns, customer profiles, and external data to determine the legitimacy of the activity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Case Management:</span></span><span> Document all investigation steps, analysis, and findings clearly and concisely within our case management system. Make reasonable recommendations for case closure or escalation for further action.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>SAR/STR Filing:</span></span><span> Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with the relevant financial intelligence units in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Crypto Expertise:</span></span><span> Apply knowledge of blockchain technology, common crypto transaction patterns (e.g., mixing, layering), and known red flags specific to the virtual asset service provider (VASP) industry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Process Improvement:</span></span><span> Provide feedback and insights to the Compliance Manager to help refine and optimize our transaction monitoring rules, scenarios, and processes to reduce false positives and enhance detection effectiveness.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>2+ years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML compliance, or financial crime investigation role, with at least 1 year focused on cryptocurrencies/VASPs is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations and guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span>Practical experience in investigating alerts and writing and filing SARs/STRs.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong understanding of blockchain analytics; experience using tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM is a significant advantage.</span></li>\n<li><span>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span>Nice to have: Experience with transaction monitoring systems (e.g., Scorechain, Coinfirm, or traditional systems like Actimize/SAS adapted for crypto)</span></li>\n</ul>",
