maintain SLAs and report status/metrics.</li>\n <li>Ensure Identity & Access Management (IAM) controls are in place and monitored, including Azure AD (Entra ID), MFA, conditional access, and privileged access (PIM/PAM).</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with applicable security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Infrastructure Operations:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuously assess operations for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, printers, and connectivity for gaps and opportunities to enhance performance, security posture, and user experience.</li>\n <li>Lead initiatives to modernize and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring improved security visibility and scalability.</li>\n <li>Oversee telephony and mobility including VOIP systems, unified communications, and mobile device management.</li>\n <li>Support the Administration and optimization of cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Copilot) including cost governance, capacity planning, and performance tuning.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Service Delivery & Support:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Own Level 3 infrastructure/security tickets in Jira; ensure timely resolution, SLA adherence, and transparent reporting on KPIs.</li>\n <li>Partner with IT operations teams on incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Leadership, Projects & Vendor Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hire, mentor, coach, and develop technical staff—fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of learning.</li>\n <li>Lead projects to deprecate legacy applications and assist with the technical setup of new solutions that enhance reliability, security, and user experience.</li>\n <li>Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets for infrastructure, cloud, and security services; ensure quality, value, and performance.</li>\n <li>Contribute to strategic planning—optimizing current solutions for maximum value while introducing modern tools, practices and mature security setup</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> Internal & External Communications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Engage in internal/external committees and community functions (e.g., advisory boards, workshops, skill fairs).</li>\n <li>Work closely with vendor partners to ensure quality and value for money.</li>\n <li>Provide regular updates on IT operations status, risks, and workplans to leadership and stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Commit to ongoing professional development (e.g., workshops, seminars, certifications).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n <li> 5+ years in IT infrastructure and security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with: o Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intuneo Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCPo Virtualization (Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix)o SQL Server (backups, permissions)o CrowdStrike (endpoint protection) o Veeam (backup and disaster recovery)o Microsoft Defender (endpoint and cloud security)o Meraki (network and security appliances)</li>\n <li> Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, VOIP systems, and mobile technologies is required</li>\n <li> Hybrid role with the need to attend our head office in waterloo at least 2-3 times a week.</li>\n <li> Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required</li>\n <li> Familiarity with SASE tools and architectures is preferred.</li>\n <li> Experience in HealthCare, preferably Home HealthCare is a large asset.</li>\n <li>Vehicle is required and some travel is required</li>\n <li>Clear Background and Vulnerable Sector Check</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS</p>\n<ul>\n <li>CCNP or similar networking certification.</li>\n <li>CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification.</li>\n <li>Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.</li>\n <li>ITIL or PMP for process and project management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>CarePartners In Your Community</h2>\n<p>In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
