As an Early Years Apprentice, you will focus on high quality affordable childcare from 9 months - 5 years of age.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Details</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span> £8 per hour</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working hours:</span> Monday – Friday 7:00am – 7:00pm (shift work) 7:30-4:30, 7:45-4:45, 8-5</p>\n<p>8:15-5:15, 8:30-5:30, 8:45-4:45, 9-6 - 40 hours per week</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: </span>15 Saint Nicholas Ave, Hornchurch RM12 4PT</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprenticeship Details –</span> 19 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/ remote). </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Training Provider:</span>  LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an early years apprentice you will be trained to achieve the position of a Nursery Practitioner and to assist the Room Leader in all areas of daily tasks, contributing to a high-quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.</p>\n<p>You day to day duties will include</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend team meetings and all out of hour’s activities.</li>\n<li>Support all staff and engage in the team.</li>\n<li>Under supervision provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding.</li>\n<li>Assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children.</li>\n<li>Ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development.</li>\n<li>Keep rooms clean and tidy and ensure children’s folders are kept up to date.</li>\n<li>Provide adult interaction with children in the nursery and offer stimulating and varied activities.</li>\n<li>Be aware of the Nursery’s policies and procedures drawing particular attention to confidentiality and safeguarding.</li>\n<li>Contribute to good standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery.</li>\n<li>Undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined by the trainee’s supervisor from time to time.</li>\n<li>Understand that as part of the training you may be required to move to other parts of the nursery</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Desired skills &amp; Personal qualities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enthusiastic about making a difference</li>\n<li>Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills</li>\n<li>Reliable, committed, and punctual</li>\n<li>Have a passion for supporting children with their learning and development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Desired qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>DBS must be completed once successful</li>\n<li>GCSE in Math and English grade C/4 or above</li>\n<li>Hold a level 2 qualification in childcare</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About the Employer</span></span></p>\n<p>LifeLine Projects was founded in 2000 by a group of volunteers in East London who saw a need in their local community. Realising that they could be part of the solution, they began working with isolated and marginalised women.
