Still Research Institute (ATSRI) Center for Oral Health Research (COHR) and Missouri School of Dentistry &amp; Oral Health (MOSDOH), in alignment with ATSU's social mission and scholarly strategic planning areas. To this end, assist in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of oral health research and quality improvement outcomes, as well as MOSDOH grant-funded initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Major Job Duties:</strong></u></p><p><u><strong>Student Research</strong></u></p><ul><li>Support the teaching of evidence-based dentistry and research methodology.</li><li>Guide and mentor students in developing, executing, and disseminating research projects.</li><li>Provide grading, feedback, and guidance on research-related assignments.</li><li>Support and coordinate student research events, including Research Day activities.</li><li>Disseminate information on relevant conferences, symposia, and meetings to students.</li><li>Assist students with preparing and presenting research posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Faculty Research</strong></u></p><ul><li>Provide guidance to faculty on research proposal development and grant writing.</li><li>Advise on IRB protocols and assist with submission and compliance.</li><li>Contribute to the design and delivery of faculty training to enhance research skills and engagement.</li><li>Support faculty in applying for internal and external grants and funding opportunities.</li><li>Disseminate information on relevant conferences, symposia, and research meetings to faculty.</li><li>Assist with the preparation and submission of abstracts, publications, and other scholarly outputs.</li><li>Collaborate with faculty on ongoing and new research projects and initiatives.</li><li>Provide assistance with research data management, analysis, and interpretation for faculty-led projects.</li></ul><p><u><strong>ATSU / Institutional Research</strong></u></p><ul><li>Coordinate basic and clinical outcomes research relevant to MOSDOH’s mission and vision.</li><li>Develop and submit independent research initiatives aimed at securing internal and external funding.</li><li>Contribute to ATSU’s scholarly output through publications, presentations, and innovation.</li><li>Serve on research-related committees (e.g., ATSRI, COHR) as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Research.</li><li>Support research-related activities across MOSDOH and ATSU, including events &amp; collaborative projects.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific and technical developments.</li></ul>",
