Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are currently looking for an Internal HGV Class 2 Driver in the Glasgow area to support our growing Operations Team</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive basic salary</li>\n<li>Health and well-being related benefits</li>\n<li>A great pension scheme</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transport stock by driving company vehicles and meet delivery deadlines</li>\n<li>Comply with all driving and Road Transport legislation to ensure loads are delivered in a safe and legal manner</li>\n<li>Comply with Health and Safety requirements in the depot, on the road, at customers’ sites to ensure loading and unloading stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment</li>\n<li>Communicate with the customer on-site, as a company representative, and complete all paperwork to validate accuracy of delivery and collection</li>\n<li>Feedback to hire desk, delivery or collection, issues affecting customer service to enable resolution</li>\n<li>Carry out vehicle checks, and follow procedures to rectify faults found to ensure vehicle is safe and legal</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Need</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)</li>\n<li>Driving licence class C + E</li>\n<li>Experience working with HGVs<br></li>\n<li>Use of mobile phones and apps</li>\n<li>Capable of Manual Handling i.e. strapping and securing loads</li>\n<li>Physically fit to lift / move materials and move in and out of vehicles in a construction site environment</li>\n<li>Hydraulics experience preferred but not essential</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you are interested in this position please click apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">#INDLP</span></em></p>\n<p><br></p>",
