font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Provides supervision of staff when management is not in the facility.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area and helps mentor lifeguard in rule enforcement and swim test administration.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">The position is identified as safety sensitive and subjected to required, random drug testing as scheduled.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving and throughout the shift, responds and corrects hazards when able or reports immediately to supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Performs pool chemical testing at appropriate times of the day, as required, and takes appropriate action as needed to correct inconsistencies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;\">Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state Health Department code.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
