For over 95 years, we've cared for our employees and customers—earning recognition as the 19th largest privately owned builder in the country and building a culture of long-tenured employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are proud to be a four-time U.S. Best Managed Company (2022–2025), a distinction sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, and to be Great Place to Work® certified for the past four years.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Enrich your career at a company that values integrity, excellence, opportunity, stability, and success.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Headquartered in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, Drees operates in twelve metropolitan areas: Greater Cincinnati (including Northern Kentucky), Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio; Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Jacksonville, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Washington, D.C.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Stability Title, a subsidiary of Drees Homes and First Equity Mortgage,</strong> is seeking candidates for a Title Examiner position in our Jacksonville, FL office.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this position you will be responsible for ensuring a title clear of all liens for Drees lot purchases and again prior to the closing of homes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Some responsibilities include:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet requirements to be a licensed escrow officer including continuing education hours as required by The Florida Department of Insurance</li>\n <li>Evaluate the risk to be undertaken in the issuance of title insurance policy and the clearance of title objections</li>\n <li>Electronic filing and maintenance of all Drees post-closing files</li>\n <li>Research and generate title commitments</li>\n <li>Update title commitments and check surveys</li>\n <li>Generate final title policies after closing and deliver policy to lender</li>\n <li>Complete annual title policy inventory</li>\n <li>Provide customer service and support for documents or information on property closings and assure expected closing dates are achieved</li>\n <li>Miscellaneous administrative responsibilities such as file maintenance, answering phones and special projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Some Requirements include:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2-3 years experience searching title in a title plant</li>\n <li>Florida Escrow officer license required</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience issuing title commitments and title policies</li>\n <li>Data Trace and/or Integrity Title Plant knowledge</li>\n <li>Experience with Softpro Select a plus</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel</li>\n <li>Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Goal oriented team player</li>\n <li>Ability to handle tasks and production based work in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and able to make sound decisions</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are searching for an experienced Title Examiner, a detail-oriented individual with acute accuracy, goal oriented and a strong customer service focus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Stability Title</strong> offers a competitive pay and benefits package including profit sharing & 401(k) plans.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>Excellent salary and bonus potential.<strong>Join a special team that works together to make Drees a successful company and a rewarding place to work!</strong></p>",
