What You'll Do:
Oversee pipeline construction projects. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of third party contractors. Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance. Manage subordinate employees within pipeline operations. Complete reports of job progress. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met. Verify conformance. Assure all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules & policies. Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance. Monitor the job site for safety and quality of work. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related business; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Computer Skills
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn to use proprietary databases.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
English language fluency, verbal and written. Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
