Description Lying just inland between the State's coastal mountain ranges and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Adventist Health Reedley has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. We are comprised of a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics in 27 rural communities with primary and specialty care services. Reedley is a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts as it is located in the central San Joaquin Valley portion of California, close to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. In addition to the beautiful landscape, it also offers a great cost of living and close-knit communities. Job Summary: Performs administrator duties for California Children's Services (CCS). Performs deputy director duties for the Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) program. Provides program and operation leadership, supervision and management to ensure efficient service delivery. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Five years' relevant experience: Preferred Two years' public health services programming coordination experience: Preferred Department Specific License/Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): Required AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required Essential Functions: Develops, organizes and administers the Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) program. Directs and administers programs that represent the full range of services within this delivery system, including provider development and maintenance, coordination with agencies and programs, program monitoring, planning and evaluation, assessments and other related case management services necessary to maintain efficient and effective public health service delivery. Serves on the departmental management team to assess community needs and develop the strategies, partnerships and resources necessary to meet the broader community health needs. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements: Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
