Cooperate and assist Engineering management in the achievement of hotel and department goals.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Position Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a AAA 4+ Diamond Resort.</li>\r\n\t<li>A minimum of 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in a hotel or directly related industry.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical, is required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of hotel fire standards and procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve personnel and production issues that arise, with minimal supervision.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform rigorous tasks including working from ladders, under equipment, and handling awkward materials or apparatus required of tasks assigned.</li>\r\n\t<li>This position will require the operation of a motor vehicle.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<u>Responsibilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Perform repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment - ensuring methods, materials, practices meet company standards, and Local and National codes. &nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Repair hotel guest rooms as assigned under the Preventative Maintenance program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Report broken or misused equipment to Engineering Manager or Director</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that safety systems are operable.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow Occupational Health &amp; Safety regulations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the maintenance of the department&rsquo;s inventory by reporting needed supplies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of Safety Data Sheet, product labeling, proper storing, and handling of materials.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<u>Education</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High school diploma</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience in a large hotel environment preferred.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Skills and Abilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to communicate in the English language; Second language is a plus.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and use of equipment/ machinery.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends, including overnight shifts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to perform multiple tasks.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Physical Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.</li>\r\n\t<li>Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift (up to 8 hours).</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10&deg;F) and kitchens (+110&deg;F).</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
