    "description": "<p>Job Summary</p>\n<p><br>The Greeter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by offering a warm welcome, assisting with customer inquiries, and creating a positive and inviting atmosphere as customers enter the store. The Greeter may also be called upon to assist with cash transactions and support merchandisers as needed.</p>\n<p><br>Duties and Responsibilities</p>\n<p><br>1. Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.<br>2. Assist customers by providing information, directions, or answering their questions about store layout and product locations.<br>3. Responsible for actively promoting and highlighting brand promotions to maximize customer engagement and sales.<br>4. Collaborate with Sales Team and Brand Managers to actively support brand awareness campaigns and initiatives.<br>5. Responsible for ensuring store carts are organized at the entrances and exits of the store and collected from the parking lot.<br>6. Engage with customers to make them feel valued and appreciated, enhancing their overall shopping experience.<br>7. When required, assist with cash transactions at the point of sale, accurately processing payments and ensuring a smooth checkout process.<br>8. Provide support to merchandisers as needed, including helping with product restocking, maintaining displays, and ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing.<br>9. Be vigilant in identifying and reporting any suspicious activity or potential theft to store management or security personnel.<br>10. Assist in keeping the store hazard-free and ensure that safety guidelines are adhered to, reporting any potential safety concerns.<br>11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a well-maintained and organized sales floor and provide seamless customer service.<br>12. Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for customer comments, complaints, or inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel for resolution.<br>13. Keep appropriate records relating to the discharge of his/her responsibilities.<br>14. Executes any other duty assigned by management.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Organizational Relationships<br>This position reports to the Store Supervisor and indirectly to the Store Manager. He/she interfaces regularly with the dispensary, sales, Consumer Sales and Marketing staff.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements - Education and Experience<br>He/she must have a high school diploma or general education certificate and preferably one year’s work experience. Basic understanding of the retail industry is desirable. He/she must be a self-motivated team player, have a professional demeanor with reasonable communication skills.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical and Emotional Demands<br>He/she must have the physical ability and emotional intelligence to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the job.
