The Production Technician will be responsible for efficient assembly of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies. On the job training is provided. </p>\n<p>   </p>\n<p><strong>The Location:</strong> Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Dowling Ontario Canada<strong>.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a <strong>Production Technician </strong>you will be responsible for: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble products according to assembly manuals and drawings. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Report defects.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure proper housekeeping.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow operating procedures, guidelines, and drawings to ensure that product specification and tolerance levels are met. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that product quality requirements are always met. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Identify and use hand tools. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides feedback and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to the operation and improvement projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must Have:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety conscious. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Accountable, dependable, and results-oriented </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, requiring manual dexterity and versatility. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to use hand tools. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be able to work in a team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow written instructions and perform the functions of the job. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate attention to detail skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work in a production environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience or education in electronics would be considered an asset. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment would be considered an asset.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you require any special accommodation, please email our team at [email protected] and we will be pleased to follow up with you.
