We look forward to hearing from you!</span></p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Medical Director</p><p><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Psychiatrist, under auspices of or in conjunction with the Medical Director, sets the standards for facility medical/psychiatric management.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education Requirement:</strong></p><p>MD degree and completed a residency in psychiatry</p><p><strong>Experience Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Current license to practice in state of Tennessee without sanctions. Documented evidence of training or knowledge of psychiatric management. Working with Dually Diagnosed a plus. Current CEU&nbsp;</li></ul><p>requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Lead the assessment and development of appropriate plan of care</p><p>2. Involve client, family and staff in execution of Plan of care</p><p>3. Intervene as warranted in response to DISCUS assessment</p><p>4. Incorporate interdisciplinary assessments into Plan of care such as BDP, IEP and other medical disciplines</p><p>5. Thorough knowledge of psychotropic management and interventions</p><p>6. Documentation in accordance with medical, regulatory and funding guidelines</p><p>7. Provide mandated oversight to Advance Practice Nurses</p><p>8. Provide Consultation as warranted to other clinical staff</p><p>9. Assist in development of clinical policies and procedures</p><p>10.
