    "description": "<p>Position: Residential Aide</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Program: Hogan House</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Location: Hartford</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Salary: $20.00 hourly</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Schedule: Part Time, 16 hours, 1st shift, Friday- Saturday (7am-3pm)</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Program Summary:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Hogan House provides intensive residential substance use disorder treatment services to pregnant and parenting women, so they can return to their communities as healthy productive parents in recovery.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Position Summary:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care for&nbsp;an intensive, short-term, residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program for Pregnant Women and Women with children.&nbsp; Hogan House provides services to admitted clients, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 52-weeks a year. This position provides quality services in an individual or group setting by providing educational skills to enhance knowledge, awareness, and their quality of life in recovery.&nbsp; Staff will respond effectively to meet the needs of clients, co-workers, safe facility operations, community members and funders.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Residential Aide is a member of the care team providing care and comprehensive substance use treatment services to women who have young children or are expecting a child, at our residential Women and Children Substance Abuse Treatment facilities.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Requirements:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School Diploma / GED</li>\r\n\t<li>2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li>\r\n\t<li>Regular and predictable attendance is required</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Orientation: </u></p>\r\n\r\n<p>If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Benefits:</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Medical, dental, vision benefits are offered along with other additional voluntary coverages with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>403(b) retirement plan with employer matching contribution</li>\r\n\t<li>Company paid short and long term disability and life insurance with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>Paid time off (vacation, personal and sick) with full time employment</li>\r\n\t<li>12 paid holidays</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>The Connection is a statewide human services and community development agency that provides unique solutions to the problems of homelessness, mental illness, substance use, improving child welfare and community justice rehabilitation.
